1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using HostSimple services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Service Description
HostSimple provides game server hosting services including but not limited to Minecraft, Valheim, Rust, Satisfactory, Terraria, Veloren, and OpenRA dedicated server hosting.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our services.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Host or distribute malicious software
- Launch attacks against other servers or networks
- Distribute copyrighted material without permission
- Engage in cryptocurrency mining
- Use excessive resources beyond your plan limits
5. Payment & Billing
Services are billed in advance for the period you choose: monthly, quarterly (three months at a 5% discount) or yearly (twelve months at a 10% discount). Each period renews automatically for the same length unless cancelled first. Payment is processed through Stripe. If a payment fails we keep your server running for a grace period while you update your card, then pause it. Cancelling stops future charges and your server stays online until the end of the period you have paid for. Orders placed before 4 October 2026 on a $1 seven-day trial renew at the plan's listed monthly price when the trial ends unless cancelled first; cancelling during that trial pauses the server immediately.
When a subscription is closed — by cancellation or after a payment could not be collected — the paused server and its world are kept for 30 days (14 days for a cancelled trial). We email you seven days before the end of that period; after it, the server and its files are deleted permanently. Ask us before that date and we will send you your save files.
6. Refund Policy
We offer a 48-hour money-back guarantee on new orders. After 48 hours, no refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
7. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your service at any time from your dashboard.
9. Limitation of Liability
HostSimple is not liable for any data loss, downtime, or damages resulting from the use of our services. We recommend maintaining your own backups.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
